Sverdlovsk Region’s Trade Turnover Goes Up More Than 7% in 2012

February 7, 2013. According to data supplied by the Ural Customs Administration of Russia’s Federal Tax Service (excluding the data provided by the Customs’ Energy Department). Sverdlovsk Region’s foreign trade turnover came to $11,069.3m (in current prices) in January-November 2012, which was 7.1% more than in January-November 2011. These data do not cover the export and import that did not get officially registered by the authorities. This information was carried by SverdlovskStat’s press service recently.

If one analyzes these statistical data, it will become clear that the share of export comes to $8,449.9m (an increase of 13.8% against a year earlier), while the share of import amounts to $2,619.4m (a 9.8% drop against 2011).

The export surplus reached $5,830.5m.

Sverdlovsk Region’s foreign trade turnover involving the countries of the far abroad came to $9,943.4m in current prices, which was 7.9% more than in January-November 2011; this included $7,707.6m worth of exports (+15.1%) and $2,235.8m worth of imports (-11.4%).

Sverdlovsk Region’s foreign trade turnover involving the CIS member states came to $1,125.9m in current prices, which was 1% more than in January-November 2011; this included $742.3m worth of exports (+1.1%) and $383.6m worth of imports (+0.8%).
