25 December 2012 (09:34)
December 25, 2012. Uralvagonzavod Corporation made a nice New Year present to the residents of Nizhniy Tagil: the company’s Clean Pool Resort was reopened for everyone after a major overhaul. The resort has not seen such large-scale remodeling since 1992, when it was first built. All the jobs were completed within a very short period of time, in only two months. Uralvagonzavod’s daughter enterprise UBT-Uralvagonzavod acted as the general contractor for the project, Uralvagonzavod Scientific & Production Corporation’s press service reports.
The Clean Pool Resort, located on the shore of the Petrokamensky Pond and within an hour’s drive of Nizhniy Tagil, is both the locals and the corporation employees’ favorite place for having a good family time, fishing, walking, celebrations, weddings, anniversaries. In 2012 alone, starting from January and up to the moment when the repairs began, 1,970 Uralvagonzavod workers spent their vacations here, not to mention the residents of Nizhniy Tagil.
The resort comprises two modern 2-storey stone buildings. One of the buildings was only given a slight re-polishing, while the second one now looks completely different from the inside: it’s got new floors and ceilings, and satellite TV, fridges, wardrobes, and new, comfortable furniture were introduced in all the rooms. The furniture was actually manufactured by Uralvagonzavod’s daughter enterprise Volchansky Mechanical Plant.
