December 25, 2012. The Industrial Urals-The Polar Urals Energy Company is now a member of the Market Council Non-Profit Partnership as well as a member of the Expert Board. This decision was confirmed by the partnership’s Supervisory Board (Protocol 35/2012), the company’s press service reports.

The Market Council for the Organization of Efficient Wholesale and Retail Electric Power Trade Non-Profit Partnership deals in operating and controlling the wholesale and retail electric power markets.

‘Our membership in the Council is one step on the way to coordinating an energy company’s activity in accordance with the Federal Electric Power Sector Act and with other recently amended laws. For a market player, this membership opens access to the wholesale electric power market and places it on the Federal Tariff Service’s register,’ the company explains.

The enterprise representatives observe that entering the wholesale electricity market will ensure the payoff of the Polyarnaya Power Station investment project.
