October 11, 2012. The pipe-manufacturing enterprises of ChTPZ Group – Chelyabinsk Tube Rolling Plant and Pervouralsk New Pipe Plant – launched their annual flu immunization campaign this week. The vaccines will be offered to employees through December. Over 7,000 workers from the two plants will be able to benefit from the free vaccine available in the corporate health units and the company’s Medical Center. The company management directed about 2.5m RUR to this good cause, ChTPZ Group’s press officer reports.

The well-reputed, highly refined Influvac was purchased for the immunization purposes: this brand has been used at the plants for seven years now. According to the statistics, this campaign brings down the number of those who catch the virus by several times. The company Medical Center’s experts note that timely immunization helps the body to set off the immune system’s protective mechanisms, make it more resistant to colds, and avoid complications in case of illness.
