Work Team Set up to Get Ready for Russia-Kazakhstan Interregional Cooperation Forum

October 11, 2012. Governor Evgeny Kuivashev signed an order on setting up a work group for the preparation for and coordination of the 10th Russia-Kazakhstan Interregional Cooperation Forum in Yekaterinburg in 2013, Governor of Sverdlovsk Region’s Information Policies Department reports.

The work team comprises 28 people and is chaired by the regional government’s Prime Minister Denis Pasler. The team members are the Vice Premiers, some members of the regional Cabinet, and representatives of the law-enforcement authorities. Issues related to the forum preparations are also handled by the President of the Ural Chamber of Commerce & Industry Andrei Besedin, member of the regional Public Chamber Gevork Isakhanyan, Rector of Ural Federal University Viktor Koksharov, President of Sverdlovsk Region division of the Russian Union of Industrialists & Entrepreneurs Dmitri Pumpyansky, and head of Yekaterinburg Council Alexander Yakob.

The work team is to devise the forum agenda very soon; the forum will be dedicated to the industrial cooperation between Russian and Kazakh territories.

Evgeny Kuivashev’s proposal to hold the ‘jubilee’ 10th Forum 2013 in the capital of the Mid-Urals was backed by Russian President Vladimir Putin and President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev.
