Uralvagonzavod Scientific & Production Corporation has taken part in Africa’s largest civil and military aviation and ammunition exhibition Africa Aerospace & Defence — 2012 for the first time this year; the fair opened in the South African Republic on September 19. The corporation is presenting its two life-size armored vehicle samples there. Experts believe this demonstration will be the show’s main feature this year.

Over a hundred various firms and companies from the world’s leading powers, including Russia, Great Britain, France, Germany, and the USA are presenting their vehicles at Africa Aerospace & Defence — 2012. For the first time this year, Russia will present a selection of life-size samples, including two of the corporation’s armored vehicles: the upgraded T-72 tank and its fire support combat vehicle.

Located strategically on an open-air site, Uralvagonzavod’s combat vehicles have already attracted the guests and visitors to the fair’s attention, who spoke very highly of the machines’ advantages such as high efficiency, reasonable price, and substantial upgrading potential provided for by their design.
