20 September 2012 (11:01)

The BOD Chairman of Magnitogorsk Iron & Steel Works (MMK) Viktor Rashnikov has been featured in the business leaders rating once again; the rating comprises the top managers and leading administrators of Russia’s largest enterprises.

Kommersant carried the 13th annual rating called Russia’s Top100 Managers that had been prepared by the Association of Russian Managers. This rating serves as a measuring tool for getting an objective estimate of the leading Russian top managers’ professional skills. It looks into their performance in the course of one year and singles out the most professional managers in Russia as well as branch and functional divisions leaders.

The research is based on a simple and clear methodology based on the principle of ‘the best selecting the best’: top managers assess top managers and functional administrators assess functional administrators. This results in an objective evaluation of a manager’s professional reputation.

There are separate ratings for functional administrators along this or that direction. As for the Metallurgy category, some MMK representatives made it to the rating. For one, MMK Deputy DG for Finance & Economics Alexander Andrianov was among the best financial directors. MMK Management Company’s Strategic Development Director Dmitri Usanov was featured in the rating of best corporate governance directors in the metallurgical industry. MMK Deputy DG for Sales Nikolai Lyadov was on the list of the best marketing directors; MMK Management Company’s Vice President for External Communication Vladimir Ruga was declared one of the best PR and corporate relations directors. As for Russia’s leading commercial directors, MMK Deputy DG for Commerce Vitaly Bakhmetiev was one of them. MMK Management Company’s GR Director Alexei Buryak was nearly at the top of the rating of GR directors.
