Petrokommerz to Pay Nigmas’s Ex-Workers’ Wages

10 September 2012 (11:22)

Bank Petrokommerz will soon provide the money needed to pay the wages owed to the former workers of Verkhnyaya Sinyachikha Metallurgical Plant (a subsidiary of OOO Nigmas). Such was an agreement that the bank and Sverdlovsk Region authorities came to.

The region’s Prime Minister Denis Pasler held challenging talks with the owner of Nigmas’s Verkhnyaya Sinyachikha subsidiary and Bank Petrocommerz.

‘The arrears in wages to the plant’s employees have been paid in full, and some of the workers have already been compensated for the layoffs. It has been agreed by now that Bank Petrokommerz will supply the money needed to give out severance pay and the unused vacation compensations to workers. We are watching the development of the affairs very closely,’ Pasler said.

The debt to former workers comes to 11m RUR, which includes the unused vacation compensations and severance payments.
