Sverdlovsk Region Won’t Get Housing Funding in 2012

27 August 2012 (09:21)

Sverdlovsk Region was not on the list of Russian constituencies that would get subsidies within the framework of the federal Housing Program for 2011-2015; to be more precise, the region failed to make it to the list of finalists of the sub-program on the promotion of housing construction in Russian Federation constituencies for the year 2012; this news is available via the Russian Federation Government’s website.

Subsidies (nearly 2.41bn RUR altogether) will be paid to 26 Russian constituencies this year, including Tyumen Region and Chelyabinsk Region: these will receive 9.637m RUR and 76.917m RUR, respectively.

Sverdlovsk Region Deputy Construction & Infrastructure Development Minister Sergey Kiselev told UrBC that, even though the region put up more housing in 2011 than in 2010, it still failed to meet the target figures for the program, which was the reason why the region did not get any federal funding this time.

Now in 2011, 551.3m RUR was directed to Sverdlovsk Region within the Housing Program.
