Court Insists Uralsevergaz’s Actions Be Declared Unlawful

The public prosecution authorities of Nizhniy Tagil’s Leninsky District investigated the break in the hot water supply in some of the town’s dwellings.

Some measures were taken following the inspection. It was detected that on May 16, 2012 Uralsevergaz stopped supplying natural gas to 22 boilers of Tagilenergo because the end users owe them a lot of money; as a result, no hot water is supplied to residential buildings located in Nizhniy Tagil.

The prosecution authorities placed a claim with Nizhniy Tagil’s Leninsky District Court, demanding that the actions of Tagilenergo’s officials be declared unlawful. The court ruled on June 2, 2012 that these demands be fully met, so measures are taken to ensure the people in charge are made to comply with this ruling.

In addition, the public prosecutor of Nizhniy Tagil’s Leninsky District ordered the Mayor of Nizhniy Tagil to eliminate all the legal violations committed by the Director of Tagilenergo; the company’s head was fired, and a claim asking to declare Uralsevergaz’s actions unlawful has been placed with Leninsky District Court.
