Tax Inspectorate Joins Russkiye Samotsvety’s Bankruptcy Case

Sverdlovsk Region Arbitration Court sustained the application placed by Federal Tax Service 31 on behalf of Sverdlovsk Region division of Russia’s Federal Tax Service on including the service in the list of Russkiye Samotsvety Plant’s creditors. The company is now involved in a bankruptcy case, and the service’s claim comes to 1.8m RUR, the court reports.
Now the court ruled on March 6, 2012 that Russkiye Samotsvety Plant should undergo bankruptcy proceedings. Ulyana Nikulina was appointed the company’s trustee in bankruptcy.
The tax service will be among the third-priority creditors.
Russkiye Samotsvety Plant stopped operating in 2003. It was re-launched in 2007 under the management of Finpromco (run by Deputy Anatoly Pavlov); a new enterprise was built. The plant is known to suffer losses in 2007-2009.
The next court hearing has been scheduled for August 8, 2012.
