Yekaterinburg Electrical Network Company to Present Smart Grid at Innoprom 2012

Yekaterinburg Electrical Network Company is going to present its new intellectual Smart Grid system at Innoprom 2012 exhibition on July 11-15, 2012, the company’s press service reports.

The company’s stand will mainly be dedicated to presenting the potential and the stages of launching Smart Grid, a technology for building the smart distribution networks of the future, in Yekaterinburg electric mains system. The stand will provide information on the basics of building and operating Smart Grid, on the changing role of the consumer once the system has been launched, on the benefits the new technology will bring to the communal housing services network, on changes in the way public transport will operate, and much else besides.

The company will also present Yekaterinburg’s first electromobile and the charging stations for the transport of the future.

The company experts will also take part in the International Conference on Technical Regulation in the Single Economic Zone and Harmonization of Technical Legislation in Russia and the EU. The presentations will be made in the course of a panel on Industrial Innovation Strategies.

Yekaterinburg Electrical Network Company’s stand No. 1F7.3 will be located in Pavilion 1 on July 11-15, 2012.
