The Ural International Innovations Exhibition/Forum Innoprom that will be held in the Mid-Urals for the third time this year will be given the federal industrial fair status. Governor Evgeny Kuivashev’s initiative was supported by the participants of the exhibition’s federal coordination committee that was held in the Russian Federation Government House and chaired by Deputy Head of Russian Government Arkady Dvorkovitch.
Innoprom’s federal coordination committee is expected to be headed by Russia’s Industry & Trade Minister Denis Manturov. The meeting resulted in the decision to support Kuivashev’s proposal to make Innoprom the country’s No. 1 industrial fair.
Dvorkovitch agreed to moderate a round table discussion on Russia’s applying for EXPO 2020 on the second day of Innoprom.
