ChTPZ Stockholder Andrei Komarov: Governor Kuivashev Supports Our State Guarantee Application

Governor of Sverdlovsk Region Evgeny Kuivashev held a work meeting with a shareholder of Chelyabinsk Tube Rolling Plant (ChTPZ) and Co-Chairman of Russia’s Pipe Industry Fund Andrei Komarov.
The meeting participants spoke about the provision of state guarantees for 2008-2009 loans refinancing to the company; the loans had been given to complete the plant’s new investment projects, Iron Ozone 32 and Vysota 239.
Russia’s Finance Ministry is to consider the issue of offering these state guarantees to ChTPZ and a number of other metallurgical enterprises over the next few days.
‘The Governor said during our meeting that he was willing to place a request to this extent with the Russian Government and to ask them to support our state guarantee initiative,’ Komarov said after the meeting.
