UrBC, Yekaterinburg, April 23, 2012. Ural Airlines is offering the Great Patriotic War veterans and disabled an opportunity to fly with one of the company’s scheduled flights to hero cities Moscow and Saint Petersburg and back – free of charge. The offer is valid between May 3 and May 13, 2012.
‘Helping our veterans to visit memorable places and to see their wartime friends and relatives on the day of this country’s most touching holiday is an honorable mission that the company keeps accomplishing for the seventh year in a row. Ural Airlines understands that such flights are special, and pays particular attention to the age and the health issues of these unusual passengers. This is why people accompanying the veterans can buy tickets at preferential rates – for only 10 of the standard price,’ the company says.
Free flights are available to war veterans enjoying the privileges states in Articles 14, 15, and 17 of the Federal Veterans Act. They can fly to Moscow from Yekaterinburg, Saint Petersburg, Novosibirsk, Novokuznetsk, Irkutsk, and Chita. As for Saint Petersburg-bound flights, these are operated from Yekaterinburg, Moscow, Novosibirsk, Chelyabinsk, and Yakutsk. The offer is valid for trips both ways. To get the ticket, a veteran’s ID must be presented at the time of booking.
