Strong drinks trader and Tszyu Boxing Academy clash in court
30 March 2012 (09:23)
SECOM, the Ural Region-based strong drinks supplier, laid a claim against Kostya Tszyu Boxing Academy with Sverdlovsk Region Arbitration Court; the plaintiff wants to get back 50,000 RUR it lent the defendant.
The corresponding application was placed with the court on March 23, 2012.
SECOM’s Legal Department explained to UrBC that the fund had been offered a 1m-RUR loan, but the remaining unpaid portion of the debt (50,000 RUR) had to be obtained through the court, despite all the existing agreements and the Academy’s promises to pay the money back.
When UrBC reporter called the boxing company, they said they strongly recommended taking no interest in the affair.
SECOM is one of the Urals’ oldest strong drinks trader which supplies and promotes good quality strong drinks. Kostya Tszyu Boxing Academy Fund is a non-profit organization operating for socially important, charity-related, cultural, and educational purposes.
